Terms & Conditions
1. Service Agreement
By booking our services, the customer agrees to these Terms & Conditions. These terms apply to all exterior cleaning and maintenance services provided by the Kerb Appeal EMS.
2. Access Requirements
- Customers must provide safe and reasonable access to all areas requiring cleaning.
- Gates must be unlocked, and pets secured before the scheduled visit.
- If access is unavailable, a call-out fee may be charged.
3. Weather Conditions
- All cleaning will be carried out in rain as modern cleaning methods remain effective.
- Services may be postponed in severe weather conditions, including high winds, storms, snow, or ice.
- Kerb Appeal EMS reserves the right to reschedule appointments when conditions are unsafe.
4. Pricing
- Prices are based on the information provided by the customer and the condition of the property.
- Additional charges may apply for heavily soiled windows, first cleans, construction residue, difficult access, or extra services requested.
- Any price changes will be discussed with the customer before work is undertaken.
5. Payment Terms
- Payment is due upon completion unless otherwise agreed in writing.
- Accepted payment methods include bank transfer, card payment, direct debit or cash
- Late payments may incur additional charges and may result in suspension of future services.
6. Regular Cleaning Schedule
- Customers on a regular cleaning schedule agree to receive cleans at the agreed frequency of either every 6 or 12 weeks.
- Kerb Appeal EMS reserves the right to adjust cleaning dates due to weather, holidays or operational requirements.
- Missed cleans due to access issues may still be chargeable.
7. Cancellations
- The customer is signing up to a minimum of 3 winodw cleans. Cancellation before 3 window cleans have been actioned will result in a cancellation fee
- Customers should provide at least 24 hours' notice for cancellations.
- Repeated cancellations may result in removal from the regular service schedule.
- One-off bookings cancelled with less than 24 hours' notice may incur a cancellation fee.
8. Customer Responsibilities
- Customers must notify the Kerb Appeal EMS of any damage to the property, or other issues before cleaning begins.
- Kerb Appeal EMS cannot be held responsible for damage resulting from pre-existing defects.
9. Liability
- While every care is taken, Kerb Appeal EMS liability is limited to the value of the service provided.
- Kerb Appeal EMS is not responsible for:
- Existing scratches, cracks, chips, or damaged seals.
- Leaks caused by defective window frames or seals.
- Damage resulting from poor installation or maintenance of windows and fittings.
- Any claims must be reported within 24 hours of service completion.
10. Water-Fed Pole Cleaning
- Purified water cleaning may leave spotting on first cleans due to residue from previous cleaning products or accumulated dirt.
- Results generally improve after subsequent cleans.
- Kerb Appeal EMS will make reasonable efforts to achieve a satisfactory result.
11. Health & Safety
- Kerb Appeal EMS reserves the right to refuse work where conditions are deemed unsafe.
- Work will comply with relevant health and safety legislation.
12. Complaints
- If a customer is dissatisfied with the service, they must notify Kerb Appeal EMS within 24 hours of completion.
- Kerb Appeal EMS will be given the opportunity to inspect and rectify any issues before any refund is considered.
13. Termination
- Either party may terminate a regular cleaning arrangement at any time by providing reasonable notice.
- Outstanding balances remain payable upon termination.
14. Data Protection
- Customer information will be used only for service provision, invoicing, and communication purposes.
- Personal data will be handled in accordance with applicable data protection laws.
15. Amendments
Kerb Appeal EMS reserves the right to amend these Terms & Conditions at any time. The latest version will apply to all future services.
